I value clarity over complexity. I avoid over-engineering, ask the right questions, and focus on creating and keeping momentum.
I’ve always learned best by doing—fixing things, solving problems, figuring things out hands-on. That mindset took root early, growing up in the Netherlands with grandfathers and a father who taught me how to use my hands to fix bikes, cars, and anything around the house.
I started in mechanics but quickly gravitated toward tech—PLC programming, GPS systems, diagnostics. Life brought me to Spain, where a temporary call center job turned into a fast-moving career in IT. I moved from agent to team lead to managing operations, then transitioned into an IT Service Delivery role supporting contact centers.
During COVID, I helped lead a fully remote Genesys Cloud rollout across five global sites. Since then, I’ve taken on leadership roles in IT, overseeing contact center systems, global telephony, and IoT infrastructure across 120 countries.
With nearly 20 years in technical roles and 7 years full-time in IT — including 5 in leadership — I’ve built a reputation for bridging business and technology, working across cultures, and cutting through complexity. At heart, I’m a doer: hands-on, practical, and focused on moving things forward.
Outside of work, I recharge by traveling, taking long rides on my motorcycle, enjoying the sun, and spending time with the family and close friends. I make it a point to regularly disconnect from the digital world—staying sharp, fresh, and ready to tackle whatever comes next.
